In Armagnac, we don’t just eat and drink good things (with moderation!)… Activities and all sorts of different festivals are also on the menu to give the whole family unforgettable moments of fun. … Gascon word of honour!
ON THE ESTATES
Throughout the whole festival season as well as during the Flamme de l’Armagnac, the houses invite you to exhibitions, cultural events, open days, farm markets… Look out for news on coming events and information on the www.armagnac.fr site or those of the regional tourist offices (see page 13).
LA FLAMME DE L’ARMAGNAC
Every year, once the harvest is over, the distillation returns.
From the end of October until around January time, all of Gascony lives to the rhythm of the Armagnac distillation. The associated festivals are great moments of conviviality, but also culture, meetings and discoveries, particularly during the numerous dinners that are organised around the alambics on the different estates.
Thus the «Flamme de l’Armagnac», referring to the burning furnace of the alambic, resumes its autumn journey …travelling along the roads throughout Armagnac, bringing with it a plethora of different events in villages, on the estates and all around.
The programme of events is available in October in all of the tourist offices in the region, on the Armagnac website and the social network pages (Facebook and Twitter). You are cordially invited to join us next to the alambic and share the sweetness of autumn evenings …

Throughout the year, Gascony resounds to the festivals and fêtes that characterise its warm and convivial atmosphere: the Festival of Bandas in Condom in the spring, Tempo Latino in Vic Fezensac at the end of July, Jazz in Marciac (Grand Site de Midi-Pyrénées) in August…
